Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Apple in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: apple in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on apple: 21 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested apple in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where apple goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.95 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.95 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does apple in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
