Apple pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Apple in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Apple is allowed to say
Apple pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Apple in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a apple pod kit really costs in Nouméa
A apple pod kit from the bulk options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested apple in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where apple goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here

New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.05 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
