Apple starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Apple in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.16 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested apple in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where apple goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.16 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
