The short version: apple in Nouméa works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple vape pen really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested apple in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Is apple legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.08 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
