Blackcurrant pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Blackcurrant in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Blackcurrant pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested blackcurrant in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.91 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
Is blackcurrant legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
