Candy 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Candy in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
The honest read on candy: 23 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A candy 30 ml shortfill from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.8 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: candy in Nouméa works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Candy sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested candy in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.8 per 10 ml.
