The short version: candy in Nouméa works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
A candy 30 ml shortfill from the discounted options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.38 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.38 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.38 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF45 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
