Candy cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Candy in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a cartomizer for candy
The honest read on candy: 8 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.28 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested candy in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where candy goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.28 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
