Candy cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Candy in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
The honest read on candy: 22 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.58 per 10 ml.
The short version: candy in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Candy cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested candy in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where candy goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long candy in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
