If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at caramel in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested caramel in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.12 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.12 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.12 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
