Caramel cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Caramel in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
We run caramel the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Caramel in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested caramel in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
