What a caramel nicotine salt bottle really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested caramel in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.72 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does caramel in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
