Caramel nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Caramel in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Caramel in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: caramel in Nouméa works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel nicotine salt bottle really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at caramel in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested caramel in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for caramel in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
How long does caramel in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
