Caramel pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Caramel in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Caramel pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel pen device really costs in Nouméa
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested caramel in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.8 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for caramel in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
