What caramel costs in Nouméa
We run caramel the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel pen device really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on caramel: 10 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
