Caramel prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Caramel in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Caramel in Nouméa reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on caramel: 10 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.64 per 10 ml.
How we tested caramel in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Nouméa survives.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.64 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does caramel in a prefilled pod last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.64 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
