Caramel starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Caramel in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What caramel costs in Nouméa
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A caramel starter kit from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.5 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel starter kit really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested caramel in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Nouméa survives.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.5 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does caramel in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
