Caramel zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Caramel in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 4 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a zero-nicotine bottle for caramel
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.9 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
A caramel zero-nicotine bottle from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.9 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a zero-nicotine bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.9 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
How long does caramel in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
