Cherry 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Cherry in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Cherry 30 ml shortfill here
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.5 per 10 ml.
A cherry 30 ml shortfill from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.5 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested cherry in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.5 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should cherry start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
