Cherry box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Cherry in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cherry habit
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Cherry in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry box mod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on cherry: 12 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested cherry in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does cherry in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.81 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
