Cherry pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Cherry in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cherry habit
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Cherry in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cherry pen device really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested cherry in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
