Cherry pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Cherry in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Cherry pod kit here
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.71 per 10 ml.
The honest read on cherry: 19 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: cherry in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Cherry in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cherry in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
