Cherry prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Cherry in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with cherry in New Caledonia
The honest read on cherry: 7 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Cherry prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cherry prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested cherry in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
How long does cherry in a prefilled pod last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
