Cherry squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Cherry in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.82 per 10 ml.
Cherry in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: cherry in Nouméa works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested cherry in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
