Citrus 100 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Citrus in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with citrus in New Caledonia
We run citrus the same way in Nouméa: same 100 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, 100 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested citrus in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.91 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
How much does a 100 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.91 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does citrus in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
