Citrus box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Citrus in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with citrus in New Caledonia
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Citrus in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus box mod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on citrus: 9 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
How long does citrus in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is citrus legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
