Citrus cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Citrus in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
We run citrus the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Citrus in Nouméa reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.75 per 10 ml.
How we tested citrus in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.75 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.75 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
