Citrus mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Citrus in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a mesh tank for citrus
Citrus mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
A citrus mesh tank from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.79 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.79 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
