Citrus pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Citrus in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pen device for citrus
A citrus pen device from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.58 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus pen device really costs in Nouméa
We run citrus the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.58 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for citrus in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is citrus legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
