Citrus pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Citrus in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the citrus habit
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.2 per 10 ml.
Citrus in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus pod kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on citrus: 13 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
How long does citrus in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is citrus legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
