Citrus pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Citrus in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pod kit for citrus
The honest read on citrus: 7 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A citrus pod kit from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.18 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: citrus in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus pod kit really costs in Nouméa
We run citrus the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.18 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
