Citrus starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Citrus in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
We run citrus the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Citrus starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: citrus in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus starter kit really costs in Nouméa
We run citrus the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.87 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
