Citrus starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Citrus in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
A citrus starter kit from the value options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.94 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.94 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested citrus in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
