Citrus vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Citrus in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Citrus is allowed to say
A citrus vape pen from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.07 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.07 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested citrus in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for citrus in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is citrus legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How long does citrus in a vape pen last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
