Coconut box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Coconut in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
A coconut box mod from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.42 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Coconut box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coconut box mod really costs in Nouméa
Coconut sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested coconut in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.42 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.42 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should coconut start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
How long does coconut in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
