Coconut cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Coconut in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.16 per 10 ml.
The short version: coconut in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Coconut cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested coconut in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coconut in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should coconut start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.16 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
