Coconut in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Coconut pen device here
Coconut pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A coconut pen device from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.8 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: coconut in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut pen device really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on coconut: 11 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested coconut in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Is coconut legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
How long does coconut in a pen device last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
