What coconut costs in Nouméa
A coconut squonk mod from the bulk options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.34 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coconut squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.34 per 10 ml.
How we tested coconut in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Mixing coconut with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coconut in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should coconut start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.34 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF53 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
