Coconut sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Coconut in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 2 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the coconut habit
We run coconut the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Coconut sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long coconut tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested coconut in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Mixing coconut with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
How long does coconut in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.25 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
