Coffee mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Coffee in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
The honest read on coffee: 9 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run coffee the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coffee mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
A coffee mesh tank from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.8 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested coffee in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coffee bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coffee in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coffee the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.8 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.8 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF48 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
