Coffee vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Coffee in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the coffee habit
We run coffee the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Coffee in Nouméa reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: coffee in Nouméa works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Coffee sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested coffee in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.68 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should coffee start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.68 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF65 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
