How we tested Cola 10 ml bottle here
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.87 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at cola in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 10 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: cola in Nouméa works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola 10 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.87 per 10 ml.
How we tested cola in a 10 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where cola goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cola tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
