Cola pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Cola in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cola habit
We run cola the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Cola pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested cola in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where cola goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
