Dessert box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Dessert in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.06 per 10 ml.
Dessert box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: dessert in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert box mod really costs in Nouméa
Dessert in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested dessert in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.06 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
