Dessert pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Dessert in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
We run dessert the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Dessert pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert pen device really costs in Nouméa
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested dessert in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.49 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
