Dessert pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Dessert in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
A dessert pod kit from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.46 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert pod kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on dessert: 19 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested dessert in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long dessert in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How long does dessert in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
