Dessert RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Dessert in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Dessert is allowed to say
We run dessert the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert RDA really costs in Nouméa
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.41 per 10 ml.
How we tested dessert in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for dessert in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does dessert in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
