Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a dessert squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on dessert: 9 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested dessert in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.64 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.64 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
