Dessert starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Dessert in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Dessert starter kit here
The honest read on dessert: 6 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: dessert in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert starter kit really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at dessert in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested dessert in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.22 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.22 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF50 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does dessert in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
