Fig box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you are looking at fig in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig box mod really costs in Nouméa
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.33 per 10 ml.
How we tested fig in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.33 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does fig in a box mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
